SIMPLICITY--The Lives of Buddhist Novices across Asia
This photo collection documents the Simple Lives of Buddhist Novices (boy monks)around temples in four countries (Laos, Cambodia, Bhutan and India) during my travels in the four years 2007-2010.
I have attempted to capture their daily activities and their expanding devotion to the Buddhist prayers and values.
These images comprise my submission to the 2010 Bernice Abbott contest organized by Julia Dean Workshops in Venice, California
